Farewell Letter

If you would like to send a farewell letter to mom add a comment to this post. I'll print them off the day of the funeral and place them in her coffin.

To the family of Sylvia from Nell Veale: I will miss Sylvia a lot as all will. She was one very nice person with a strong faith in God. She was always so pleasant to me whenever we met. I enjoyed her visits and especially her jolly laugh that was such a blessing to me; I sometimes got her laughing just so I could be blessed by hearing her!!
May your memories of Sylvia always be a blessing to you, Harold, Darren, Ben and Abby all relatives..

Many prayers and love to all at this time and always. Sylvia was a wonderful lady, one whom helped me many times with my journey and the road to recovery with cancer. Ive known Sly (nursie) since 2001 and we had many wonderful chats. I will miss her deeply. My heart is broken and this is so very hard for all who love her. Til we met again sylvia watch over us, I will miss you my dear friend. Big hugs oopsie ( CJ & Mike)

I want you to know how much Sylvia meant to me. And, honest, there aren't many people like her. She was a good friend to all of us, and I will miss her badly. Sylvia always put others before herself, even during her illness.
When my husband, Steve, got leukemia a few years ago, she was there for me; helped hold me together during a scary time, though she was sick too. She was caring and kind; an example of what we all should be. Also, when my two cats, Yoshi and Stormy died, she put me first and did not worry about herself.
We all will miss her terribly. My life is better because she let me into hers. She was also there for me when my Dad had a Heart Attack and triple Bypass. She will be missed. I am glad she is not in pain anymore.

Slvia, you will be missed greatly. Our journey started in 2001. We had lots of comforting times and you always could make us laugh. You were a joy to all of us. I know that although my heart aches, as does your family right now, that you are HOME and have joined your son, Dennis. You were always there for so many people. It was fun to get to know you and your family through your emails and family pics.

YOur memories will live within my heart.

Dear Sylvia---We know God is holding you in his care--You will be missed but we know you are home with the Lord and your struggles here on earth are over. We know you are watching over your family and willalways be with them in their hearts and memories. They know you love them dearly and that will be a comfort for them.
We know your son was there to meet you and there was a joyful reunion with him. One day you will all be togather in Gods great mansion--Oh what a joyful day that will be.

Till we meet in Gods wonderful home. Your CCN friends Stan and Carolyn
We thank you for being the wonderful person and friend you have been to us. We love you

Slyster, For many of years you have always been here to pull us all up when our feathers have been down and now as our journey takes us to this, I must say Im at a lost of words as so many memories, things that you have talked about come to mind. You was the first person that picked me up when I was diagnosed with Cancer and the last to always assure me the strength that can be built just with faith and honest friendship from the heart. Always there to give your heart and positive support, always sharing laughs, tears, flustration, advice, jokes... I will always treasure you Sly Today and Always.. I will miss our late night talks, snack times, potty times, and our see ya tomorrow lines. I will carry your memory and continue to keep you tucked in my heart as always. One Day my Dear friend we will see each other again, and until then I will carry
your name in my heart and honor your friendship Always...

Harold, Darren, Abby and Ben
Rose, Iris, and Mom and I must not forget those puppies. My heart is with you always..

Sylvia, you had so many of your own demons to battle, yet you put others before yourself. I thank you for all the help and support you gave me in the short time we had. People are placed in our paths for a reason. I don't know how I would have gotten through my mom's cancer and death w/o your support, advice, and friendship. Thank you just doesn't seem enough. ~~~Angel aka 3lumina29 aka DJ Lumina~~~ God Bless and enjoy your reward of being pain free at last.

To Sylvia/nursie family, She was a wonderful lady and friend to all at CCN. She is missed greatly.I joined my first group CCN and didnt know what to expect but nursie welcomes me and thought me things I didnt know, She was there throughout all my treatments with encouraging words. It was with joy when I open my e-mails and see the many mails with wonderful thoughts and jokes from her.My box is now empty since she stops sending out mails. My friend we all loves you but God loves you best, sleep on my friend and take your rest, you have run the race, your crown is awaiting you. Be safe in Jesus arms. To the families and friends May God grant you peace knowing that one day you will see her again cancer free, and pain free. BT.
